One Day

One day I'll be free
I'll be able to fly, to soar
One day I'll run faster
One day I'll be able to sing with the Heavenly Host
One day I'll be able to laugh
One day I'll be able to smile forever
One day there will be no pain in my heart
One day there will be no aches in my soul
One day the wars will end and cries of joy will be heard by all
Until then... I will have to be content waiting for that day.
