safely

just for a little while
she leans her head back and smiles
she looks with eyes wide
the pain seems to subside
she can feel Him gathering her up in His arms
she remembers what this is like
she knows it is safe
He carries her away
this time she plans to stay
He tells her again that He loves her
as she looks out at the water
she remembers the first time she came here
she remembers why she holds it so dear
yesterday may have hurt, tomorrow still
but she will be ok,as long as she is here
in His will.
