Battered
Abused
And bruised
He sees a warrior
Tall
Strong
Brave
True
He sees a heart

Learning to love
He sees hope
He sees a future peace
You still see the past
He sees the future
You see the dark
He sees the light

You live for Him and Him alone

Your light is visible
It shines from within you
You may not see or realize it’s measure
But it is seen
