You got me once
You took me down
You had my face in the ground
You had your fun
Now you are done

I didn’t cry
Didn’t speak
Didn’t ever even think to weep

You moved on
Forgot my name
But you left me there
And I was lame

I was unable to let them near
Unable to cherish that which others hold dear
I was scared and seemingly alone
My emotions dry as a bone

He came in however
You may not know
But this is what is left to show
