let me cry my song of broken tears
let my heart release age old fears

let me quietly sit in place
see the tracks of sorrow run down my face

let me fully realize
while watching those dark stormy skies

let the reality finally come
let me long for home

let me stand here awhile
let me rest before walking another mile

let me heal
and learn to feel

let me find forgiveness
let me take that rest

let me understand hope and love
as i search so desparately for it above

let me come face to face with my sin
